Terms of service

The operating boundaries of FlightLedger.

Last updated: July 25, 2026

Important aviation notice

FlightLedger supports coordination and recordkeeping. It is not an official aircraft, maintenance, or pilot log; a source of airworthiness approval; a dispatch authority; or a substitute for required inspections, records, procedures, or pilot judgment.

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between Snownet Inc. (“Snownet,” “we,” “us”) and the customer organization or aircraft group subscribing to FlightLedger, as well as each authorized user. By accessing the service, you agree to follow these terms and any applicable order or subscription agreement.

2. Authorized use

FlightLedger may be used only by approved users for lawful aircraft-group operations and related recordkeeping. Customers are responsible for approving users, assigning appropriate roles, maintaining accurate account information, and promptly removing access that is no longer required.

3. Customer responsibilities

  • enter information accurately and review it before relying on it;
  • verify aircraft status and required official records independently;
  • protect account credentials and report suspected compromise;
  • have authority to upload and process submitted information;
  • maintain any independent records required by law or good practice; and
  • use the service in compliance with aviation, privacy, and other laws.

4. Prohibited use

Users may not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, probe or bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape the service in a harmful manner, misuse another person’s identity, infringe rights, or use FlightLedger for unlawful activity.

5. Subscription and payment

Subscription fees, taxes, term, aircraft quantity, and included services are described in the applicable order or pricing page. Fees are generally paid in advance. Unless otherwise stated, each FlightLedger instance is licensed for one aircraft. Pricing may change for a future renewal with reasonable notice.

6. Customer data

As between the customer and Snownet, the customer retains its rights in the information it submits. The customer authorizes Snownet to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve FlightLedger. Our handling of personal information is further described in the privacy policy.

7. Service changes and availability

We may update FlightLedger to improve functionality, security, compatibility, and reliability. We work to provide a dependable service, but maintenance, internet conditions, provider incidents, emergencies, and other events may interrupt access. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended when reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, suspected misuse, legal compliance, or protection of the service or other users. Either party may end the subscription according to the applicable order. Data export, retention, and deletion are handled according to the service arrangement and privacy policy.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, FlightLedger is provided without warranties that it will meet every customer requirement or prevent every error, omission, loss, or interruption. Customers must independently verify safety-critical and legally required information.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Snownet is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, loss of use, or loss of data. Any direct-liability limit may be further described in the customer’s order or subscription agreement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they may not apply in every case.

11. Governing law

Unless an order states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to hello@flightledger.app.
